okay, so I like into-the-weeds's popular anthropology tag, but it feels cut off and too short??? so I was trying to think of how to make it just a little different (and hey, this way i would not be COMPLETELY just straight up tag stealing) and I came up with splitting the tag into various GENRES of pop culture (weeds, don't think of it as me STEALING your tags, think of it as me REMIXING them! >.>)

popular anthropology: what a time to be alive

(the catch-all tag)

(for those posts particular to my age group)

popular anthropology: it’s a meme-eat-meme world

(all of the memes and their remixes. all of them.)

(look, i live a fandom appreciation life and ‘fandom ate my soul’ is just ugh at this point)

but now I am having doubts! perhaps I am making things too complicated! and tumblr is decidedly a jerk that deliberately makes it difficult to do any real mass editing, even with all the amazing work the xkit guy does!

and anyway, do these tags even work??? why do noun!tags bother me??? why is my brain so dumb???
