This story was originally planned as part eight of a nine- or ten-part series that was mostly about Kurt/Adam, but endgame Kurt/Blaine. The first four fics are here (or here in a series on AO3), but this part should also stand alone. Just know that it’s set around five-six weeks after “I Do,” and Kurt and Adam’s relationship is significantly more of a thing here than it ever was in canon.

i did fill out a kidnapper form! i don’t know if they’ll be able to use me and if i’d be able to actually follow through even if they did match me (i made sure to say to not make me be important because NO i do not want to screw up someone’s scene because i overestimated my capabilities).
i think kidnapping for me is something that will have to stay a fantasy, because honestly even the thought of surprise!bondage and cuddles makes me suspicious of an imminent meltdown.
i just really really r e a l l y do not deal well with surprise changes in my activities. (says the person who once had a complete meltdown in elementary school when they moved the seats for testing. :P )

I’m not quite sure why I can handle it so well myself. I guess the buttons it hits in me have their own sort of comforting familiarity. I’m more okay with surprises if they’re given a child abuse flavor. Now that I say that out loud, that sounds actually really fucked up.

I feel kind of bad doing so tho because I’d be so useless for people probably and even if i was a match for someone i might well not be able to do it when the time came (altho i guess at least the kidnappERs know ahead of time when they’re going to do it, which. more than anything else, that’s why i don’t know if i could ever be a kidnappee. there’s a really good chance i’d end up having a meltdown before anything happened just because i wasn’t expecting it.)
I can’t totally speak to the surprise part; I got kidnapped on like the first full day, before I really ever let my guard down. Soft takedown might help? Or at least definitely let them no to be sensitive and/or make sure that somebody you trust would be involved. I’m sure RS would love to be part of yours. :)
I mean, I can get freaked out just by people showing up when I’m not expecting them to? and my antisocial moods are not like, rare things, so on the whole it seems like it’d be super hard to plan for. but it might be fun~ i just don’t knowwwwwwww

(persephonesidekick assures me that this will not happen and at the very least she will come hide with me if i want company)
i also realized today that this mattress topper i got from my parents will work wonders as a fake mattress at camp so i can sleep in squishy comfort! which is important because even in really comfy places i have trouble falling asleep if they are not my bed.
but yes the whole kidnapping ~THING~ is really cool and apparently AMAZING according to all accounts i’ve heard from persons previously involved
but also pretty intense??? granted you can ask for a less intense kind of scene, but i am pretty sure that somehow even if just asked to be kidnapped and tied up and maybe hit with things things would somehow arrange themselves so i would get nabbed at just the right time to trigger a meltdown of epic i-cannot-deal-with-this-or-with-people-of-any-kind proportions, because i have mad skillz at that kind of timing.
regardless i am excite.
i’m thinking MAYBE about signing up to be a kidnapper, but there’s only so much stuff i’d be into doing and idk if it’d match up with any of the kidnappees. but it’d be pretty cool to like, kidnap a pretty boy or pretty girl and have someone teach me how to play with them. just sayin’.
