That’s where the Zip Snare comes in very handy! The Zip Snare provides you with a double-loop, adjustable shackle that will never slip under tension. Several Zip Snares can be tied ahead of time and hung in a closet, ready to be used at a moments notice. Simply slip the loops onto the limb, above the joint, and adjust until snug(but NOT overly tight!).
The Zip Snare belongs to a family of knots called “slide & grip” knots. They are adjustable when you want them to be and grip when you don’t.
