Women. We call them women. There is no distinction between “women” and “people who identify as women”; that is the same group of people.
He seems to mean on the one hand either “cis women” or “all the people with vaginas (who i automatically call women)” and then on the other hand “all those other people who say they’re women (but I’m leery about them)”…which pretty much just makes him an awful ally who needs to learn more things before he keeps talking about this. What a poop. Now I’m sad.
i mean, i have specifically said things like “willing to room with any female-identified person” but that’s because people often do make a distinction between cis and trans women and i wanted to be clear.
…actually come to think of it i think i usually said something more like “willing to room with anyone who does NOT identify as male”
