Why do you think Kurt's a Slytherin?

Because he tells his father he’s stopped wearing knee-length sweaters to get a car and keeps wearing knee-length sweaters.
Because he tells Mercedes he’s into Rachel rather than coming out or saying he’s not interested.
Brittany S. Pierce and John Mellencamp.
The great Get Finn manipulation that involves setting his dad up to date Carole.
"Infiltrate Dalton." "Okay." And then he throws together a fake uniform.
Because of the way he strikes a deal with Dave, that’s highly manipulative but that he goes out of his way to always honor, so that he can return to WMHS.
Because he throws the singing competition with Rachel to protect his dad instead of just resigning from it and showing any weakness. Because he holds that card for years until he plays it against her.
Because he’s acutely ambitious.
Kurt has a code of ethics. It’s just not necessarily other people’s. He’s good at manipulation. He plays a long game. And he tends to honor his debts.
