quick poll for all the writers in the bar: when you’re writing from a close
third or first person POV, do you find yourself sort of talking yourself
into feeling the emotions and sensations you’re trying to describe?
if not, how do you do it?
is this a thing people do? or am i just strange? i kind of think of it as
‘method writing’ and i’ve certainly found it useful but it’s also kind of
emotionally exhausting at times and really awkward to do when writing
around people, like covertly at work, for example.
so. thing. discuss?
