The Solution is remembered for having probably the most chilling ending of any book in the series

on the other hand it also has the scene where, after trying numerous times over the course of three books to do something about the world leaders summit and repeatedly failing, the kids just go “fuck this” and turn into rhinos and elephants and trash the everloving shit out of the place

and it works

well the rest of the book is just so dark with so much dramatic tension it needed that ridiculousness just to give us a break
